What a summer
It has been a big few months for the Tesla Owners Club of Ohio. We put on the largest Tesla light show this region has seen, we've grown fast, and we're heading into a fall packed with events.
Here's where things stand, what's coming next, and a couple of quick ways you can help.
America 250 Cincy Lightshow — in the books
Dozens of Teslas, one synchronized show, and a crowd that showed up for it. Thank you to everyone who registered, drove in, and stuck around afterward — and to our friends at Tint World Cincinnati and Tesla Owners of Kentucky for making it happen.
The full photo gallery and the show video are up on the site.
Sign the Ohio Tesla specialty plate petition
We're working toward an official Ohio specialty license plate for the club, and it starts with demonstrated interest. It takes about a minute: tell us you'd buy one, and we'll use those numbers when we go to the state.
This is the single most useful thing you can do for the club this month. Please add your name — and forward it to another Ohio owner.
Badlands off-road excursion — date locked: Sept 12
The Midwest Off-Roading Excursion with Tesla Owners of Kentucky is confirmed for Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Badlands Off-Road Park in Attica, IN. 1,400+ acres of dunes, wooded trails, and a rock quarry.
Cybertrucks get to work; everyone else is welcome to ride along and spectate. Registration is open now — there's a $10 per-vehicle insurance fee and an electronic waiver we'll send you.
Tesla Thursday — September 3, Tint World Cincinnati
A relaxed evening meetup at Tint World Cincinnati (624 Ohio Pike), the official supplier of XPEL for Tesla. Come check out each other's cars, see some interesting modifications, and talk charging, accessories, FSD, and the latest updates.
Time is still being finalized — details will land on the events page.
Fall Y'all — we're thinking Hocking Hills
Fall Y'all is shaping up to be one of our signature seasonal events: a scenic fall foliage drive through southeast Ohio, a group gathering with the cars, families, and technology, and time to actually hang out. We're thinking bigger than a normal parking lot meetup.

Hamilpalooza EV Drive & Ride — August 22
Our friends at EVA Ohio are running an EV drive & ride at Hamilpalooza in Hamilton, Ohio on Saturday, August 22, noon to 6 PM at Marcum Park. It's a free family festival with food trucks, live music, and — new this year — the chance to drive or ride a range of EVs. There's even $10 cash for taking a test drive.
Great event to bring an EV-curious friend to.
Join the paid tier
Everything we do — the light shows, the trail days, the meetups — runs on volunteers and member support. If the club has been worth it to you this summer, consider joining the paid membership tier. It directly funds venues, permits, insurance, and the gear that makes these events possible.
The Tesla Owners Club of Ohio is an Ohio-registered nonprofit; we plan to seek 501(c)(7) status in the future. Contributions are not tax-deductible.
Want to help?
We're looking for people to help lead chapters, coordinate meetups, shoot photos and video, and wrangle logistics at events. You do not need to be an expert at anything — you just need to show up.
Reply to this email or use the contact form and we'll find you a spot.
