Welcome to the Tesla Owners Club of Ohio website. These Terms of Service, also called "Terms of Use," govern your use of our website, membership services, event registrations, communications, and other club-related activities.

By using our website, joining the club, registering for an event, purchasing merchandise, or participating in club activities, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the Club

Tesla Owners Club of Ohio is an independent enthusiast organization created to connect Tesla owners, future owners, and supporters across Ohio through events, education, community activities, local chapters, and shared interest in Tesla vehicles, energy products, technology, and the broader Tesla ecosystem.

Tesla Owners Club of Ohio is a nonprofit organization registered in the State of Ohio.

2. Independence from Tesla

Tesla Owners Club of Ohio is an independent organization. We are not Tesla, Inc., Tesla Motors, Inc., or any Tesla subsidiary or affiliate.

Any Tesla-related trademarks, vehicle names, product names, logos, or brand references are the property of Tesla, Inc. or its respective owners. References to Tesla, Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, Cybertruck, Roadster, Semi, Robotaxi, Optimus, Supercharger, Powerwall, Megapack, Solar Roof, and related marks are used only to identify Tesla products, services, or community interests.

Nothing on our website should be interpreted as an official statement from Tesla.

3. Eligibility

You may use our website and participate in club activities if you are at least 18 years old or are participating with the involvement and consent of a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.

Some events may have additional age, vehicle, safety, location, registration, or participation requirements.

4. Membership

Membership may include access to club updates, local chapter communications, events, discounts, merchandise, or other benefits.

Membership benefits may change over time. We do not guarantee that any specific event, benefit, sponsor offer, merchandise item, or activity will always be available.

We reserve the right to approve, deny, suspend, or terminate membership if a member violates these Terms, disrupts club activities, misuses club resources, behaves unsafely, or acts in a way that harms the club or its members.

5. Event Participation

Club events may include meetups, drives, light shows, charging meetups, social gatherings, educational sessions, sponsor events, charity events, or other activities.

By participating in any club event, you agree to:

• Follow all traffic laws and local rules
• Drive safely and responsibly
• Follow venue, parking lot, property, and event instructions
• Respect other members, guests, volunteers, sponsors, and the public
• Be responsible for your own vehicle, passengers, property, and actions
• Avoid reckless driving, unsafe demonstrations, street racing, harassment, or disruptive behavior

You understand that vehicle-related events involve risk. Tesla Owners Club of Ohio is not responsible for damage, injury, loss, theft, citations, accidents, charging costs, towing, mechanical issues, or other claims arising from your participation.

For certain events, we may require a separate waiver, release, or additional registration terms. Event waivers and photo releases may survive the conclusion of the event.

6. Code of Conduct

Members and participants are expected to treat others with respect.

The following behavior may result in removal from an event, suspension of membership, or termination of access:

• Harassment, threats, intimidation, or abusive behavior
• Unsafe driving or reckless conduct
• Discrimination or hateful conduct
• Misuse of club name, logo, website, or member information
• Unauthorized sales, solicitation, or promotion
• Disruption of events or online communities
• Conduct that damages the reputation or safety of the club

We reserve the right to make final decisions about event participation, member conduct, and access to club activities.

7. Payments, Membership Fees, and Merchandise

Some memberships, events, merchandise, or activities may require payment.

Unless otherwise stated:

• Membership fees are billed as described at the time of purchase
• Merchandise availability may be limited
• Event fees may be non-refundable after a certain date
• Refunds, exchanges, and cancellations are handled at our discretion
• Third-party payment processing fees may not be refundable

Specific membership plans, event pages, or merchandise listings may include additional payment terms.

8. Cancellations and Changes

We may cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or modify events due to weather, safety concerns, venue issues, low registration, volunteer availability, Tesla location requirements, sponsor changes, or other circumstances.

We are not responsible for travel costs, lodging, charging costs, time off work, or other expenses related to event changes or cancellations.

9. User Content

You may submit or share content with us, including photos, videos, comments, testimonials, social media posts, event feedback, logos, or other materials.

By submitting content to us or tagging us publicly, you grant Tesla Owners Club of Ohio permission to use, repost, display, edit, and share that content for club-related purposes, including website, email, social media, event promotion, and community updates.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to share any content you provide.

10. Photos and Videos at Events

By attending club events, you understand that photos and videos may be taken and used for club communications, social media, website content, sponsor recaps, and promotional materials.

If you do not want to be featured, please notify an event organizer. We will make reasonable efforts to honor requests, but we cannot guarantee exclusion from public, crowd, or background images.

11. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the website
• Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
• Scrape, harvest, or misuse member or club information
• Upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Use the club name, logo, or content without permission

12. Intellectual Property

The website, club content, graphics, event materials, copy, photos, and other original materials are owned by Tesla Owners Club of Ohio or used with permission, unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

Tesla trademarks and product names remain the property of Tesla, Inc. or their respective owners.

13. Sponsors, Partners, and Third-Party Links

The club may work with sponsors, vendors, venues, community organizations, or other partners.

Sponsorship or partnership does not mean we endorse every product, service, statement, or action of that third party.
